Oral or human tongue is fond of making promises, but often also the soul does not want to keep the promise made by the verbal. And thus there was what is called a lie, the proverb says that the tongue is not reinforced. In daily life we often hear that the promise is a debt to be paid and some are saying that someone is held is a promise or a person to believe that because of the accuracy of the person carrying out his promise.
The promise was uttered a mild but heavy to be carried out. For example, many parents who easily sell out a promise to his son but was never kept. And the Prophet has given a clear role model in terms of keeping a promise. Likewise what is stated in the Qur'an:
1. An-Nahl verse 9:
And stick to an agreement with God when you do not cancel the promises and vows that after enforcing them.
2. Al-Isra 'verse 34:
And obey the promises, the real promise is surely held accountable
Fulfill a promise not just come with time as good as his. If you've made an appointment with a certain time, come on time. Late one menitpun, still called late although not undisputed with the assumption that the difference at the hands of each person is different (can be the difference between five to ten minutes). Indeed, in this case we claim the right time, but at the hands of others can only assume we are including people late. Because it would be better if we come five to ten minutes early.
To get used to fulfill the promise it in case we need to instill honesty in ourselves. What is the meaning of honesty in himself? Be honest with yourself is to say something that we know ourselves well in that effort, provisions and so forth. If we are dishonest in ourselves, how we will be honest to others? That is a problem mainly termasukJ promise and all the aspects of life within ourselves. Because not only show but also a symbol of our personal beliefs on others

If promises hold tight, let the initial event of cancellation. Do not let people who were given an appointment to wait in vain. Because the promise is trustworthy. Amanah in us. Do not look for reasons that are sometimes not reasonable and just for mental conditioning. Be honest to yourself. Problems do not keep their promises can be forgiven if the reason is really important such as illness, accident, there are families who suffered tragedy and the sudden public interest and can not be postponed. This is very understandable. But if because of personal reasons ... ... then why make a promise if only to be denied. Because no one who is not angry when we break a promise. It's better we say no to a promise or when forced to promise insyaalah say, which means if Allah permitted
